Software engineer in Kathmandu with almost five years of experience. I have worked on a development finance system for Nepal's Ministry of Finance, on disaster risk platforms, and on VerifiedNepal, which I built for the August 2026 Bhote Koshi flood.

VerifiedNepal
When the August 2026 flood hit the Bhote Koshi valley, relief piled up in some places while other villages got nothing. I built VerifiedNepal overnight so people could ask for help, and so volunteers could see where help was needed and where it had already reached. It is free, open source and volunteer-run, in Nepali and English.
A moderator phones to check every request before it is published.
It works without signal, using printed claim sheets with QR codes.
Names are masked and every moderator decision goes in a public audit log.
I like being handed a problem nobody has a plan for yet.
I am a computer engineer from Kathmandu. For almost five years I have been writing software, and more and more of that time goes into leading the people who write it with me. Most of my projects started without a plan, and I led several of them from the first line of code.
